The cancellation was caused by internal airline issues such as crew shortages or technical faults that could have been prevented through proper planning
The cancellation occurred due to unpredictable and unavoidable external factors
If the cancellation was not caused by extraordinary circumstances and could have been avoided by the airline, you are entitled to compensation. In addition, if you accepted an alternative flight and it arrived more than 3 hours late, you can also claim extra compensation.
